Okay Kaley, I have to be honest. This made me tear up! Somebody was talking with me the other day about how if you go to Target, there are no nativity scenes for sale. That’s just sad. What is Christmas about, really? I never forget but it’s easy to get caught up in the season rather than the reason. So glad you shared this with us. Merry Christmas! :)

I’ve been rolling words around in my head all Advent to try to say this thing about the quiet hope of the Nativity. I noticed it during all our crazy, chaotic pageant rehearsals that when the time came for the actual manger scene, even the kids quieted. After all these years of rehearsing the story, there is so much power in it. I might never get to the post so thanks for sharing yours and letting me comment!
