So by now, I can hear you saying, “You keep talking about this ‘free money’ stuff. Where is it?!”
So glad you asked!
Before I share my favorite rewards sites with you, I’d like to clarify a few things:
- You will not get rich with these sites. (That sure would be sweet though!) These rewards programs are simply a means to turn your extra time into a little extra money.
- As you sign up for these programs, you will begin to see an increase in emails on a daily basis. Remember if you dislike receiving that many e-mails, you may want to consider creating a new e-mail address that is strictly set up for these rewards programs.
Listed below are my favorite sites that offer rewards for searching online, reading emails, shopping through their site, or entering codes. Most of these sites take very little time per day. - Swag Bucks: This is my all-time favorite free money site. Earn rewards like Amazon gift codes or Starbucks gift cards by searching online–it’s that easy! Learn more here.
- MyPoints: Earn points for reading e-mails, taking surveys and shopping through their site. Learn more here.
- YouData: Earn money simply for looking at ads. The pay-out isn’t big, but it only takes a few seconds per day and you will be paid weekly. Learn more here.

I recently discovered mturk.com, which is run by amazon. It has tasks that you can do and the pay ranges from a few cents apiece to several dollars. I only spend a half hour or maybe an hour depending on how bored I am and earn a few dollars. I have earned $30 so far, mainly doing surveys that pay around a dollar, sometimes I will do the data entry tasks but not many of them pay super well for the time they take-but it kills time…Anyway, Because it is run by Amazon you have the option of withdrawing your earnings in the form of Amazon giftcards, which are applied directly to your linked Amazon account, or you can have the funds deposited to your bank acct..The giftcard is instant, the bank transfer takes like 5 days.

PineCone is the best. They only send surveys that you are already qualified for and you are guaranteed to be paid cash. I usually have the money in my PayPal account within a few days!

I signed up for Swagbucks after reading this post a few weeks ago. I’ve earned enough for 2 Amazon gift cards but how exactly does this work? I noticed that there’s a limit on how many of the same cards you can order in a certain time frame. Do you have to redeem the points all year long and save up the gift cards?

Hi, Kimberly! You are right. You can redeem up to two rewards per day and up to 5 of the same reward per month. I redeem mine as I earn them so that they are ready to be used when the time is right.
They usually take one to two weeks to show up in your account.
