My Fall-ish Decorations on my Front Porch

The smell of freshly baked pumpkin chip cookies is in the air at our house, which reminded me about this post that I shared a year ago with you all.  I thought it would be a shame not to share it with you again!  If Fall isn’t your favorite season, these cookies might just change all that.

This week I am choosing to live large by appreciating the beauty of friendships and soaking up this crispy, delightful time of year called Fall.

Today I sat on my front porch with my cousin and childhood best friend.  We are delighted that we only live about half an hour away from each other since our move to PA.  We got caught up on each other’s lives, shared the joys and struggles of motherhood and watched our boys play together like we used to do at their age.

Taking time to value friendships like this is one of the best ways that I know to live large, no matter what your budget may be.

But it gets better.  We also sipped hot coffee and munched on some of the most delightful fall cookies known to man.  And yes–you can have the recipe.  Just promise to share them with someone you love.

As you can see, it’s a well-loved recipe.

NOTE:  You may want to bake them longer than 10 minutes.  They come out pretty gooey that way.  I’m a 10-11 minute kind of girl, while Wes is more of a 13-14 minute fan.  It’s all in your preference!

p.s.  Let me know if you need help deciphering my handwriting!

I am so excited to see that the Beauty for All Ages rebate is available again on Coupons.com! Purchase $30 worth of 3 or more qualifying Johnson & Johnson beauty care products and get a $10 rebate by mail.  Qualifying items include: Aveeno, Clean & Clear, Lubriderm, Purpose and RoC. Purchases must be made between 9/20-10/31 and must be postmarked before 11/15/10.  Be sure to print the rebate to read all of the terms and conditions.

The last time this offer was available, there was a lot of confusion over whether the $30 total was before or after coupons.  Just to clarify, I spent $30 before coupons and received my rebate in the mail.  (I ended up spending much less than $30 after coupons, so this was an incredible deal!)

I highly recommend printing your rebate form now in case it reaches its print limit before you get a chance to redeem it!  (I found mine by clicking on ‘Personal Care’.)

While you’re at it, you may also want to print these HOT coupons that were just released that go along with the rebate.  I will share deals with you as soon as I find them!

Save $2/1 RoC Anti-Aging Product
Save $1/1 Purpose Skin Care Product
Save $1/1 Aveeno or Aveeno Baby Product
Save $2/2 Aveeno or Aveeno Baby Products
Save $10/1 Aveeno Agelesss Vitality Product
Save $1/1 Clean & Clear Product
Save $1/1 Lubriderm Lotion, Cream, or Ointment Product

Kevin left a comment letting me know that there is a $2/1 CVS coupon printing at the coupon printer this week.  If you happen to score this coupon, you can use it to get FREE Xtra Laundry Detergent this week!  Here’s how:

Xtra 2x Laundry Detergent (28 loads), $2.00
$2/1 CVS coupon printing for some at the coupon printer
FREE after coupon!

Note: Others are reporting that they are printing a $2/2 coupon instead, making it $1 each instead.  OR if you have the $1/1 coupon from SS 6/6, you can use two with the CVS coupon to still get some for FREE!

Keep in mind that you can scan your Extra Care card twice per day.  If it doesn’t print for you on the first trip, you can try again on another day.  However, I don’t recommend making a special trip just for this because the coupon may not print for everyone!

Thanks, Kevin!
