According to their web-site, refills regularly cost $12.99 (black or color), so with this coupon they should only be $5.98.
I don’t believe that every Walgreens store offers ink cartridge refills, so you may want to call ahead or use the store locator here before you head to the store.
Have you ever used Walgreens ink cartridge refills before?
I’ve gotten an ink cartridge refill at Walgreens. No problem at all. I was desperate, so paid the $12.99. However, the box they put the cartridge in had a 50% off your next refill coupon on it – good until 12/31/10, so that was cool. My recommendation is dropping it off (drop off at the photo dept.) first thing. It takes about 15 minutes for the refill, so you can then do your shopping. The guy told me that you can refill about twice, but the second time was kind of a gamble if it worked or not. Even just refilling once is a money-saver! I also applied Register Rewards towards it.

I was so excited about this deal! I read it at work and rushed home (22 miles) to get my ink cartridges I had been saving and then went to Walgreens (34 miles) and found out that they do not refill HP #60. Apparently HP60 can be either black or color ink and their machines can not distinguish between the two. That stinks!!!

Thanks, Kaley! It was a lesson learned. Next time, I’ll call first to see if the ink from my other two printers are compatible. Just wanted to warn others! =)
