Please tell me I’m not CRAZY

We are heading out the door to Philadelphia, where we will stay with my brother and his family.  We will then get up on Sunday morning bright and early and head into the city with about 26,500 other people who will be running the Broad Street Run Ten Miler.  I will be one of them.

I just need a little reassurance that I’m not crazy, maybe a few ‘go get ‘em, Tigers’ and a whole lot of prayer.  Other than a half marathon a few years ago, this is the longest race that I have run and I feel much less prepared than I’d like.

Thankfully, my cousin is running it with me and we plan on taking things at our own pace.  It’s Ok if we don’t win. =)

Besides, If I need to feel like a winner, I always have swagbucks.

Now pardon me while I go sing “It’s the Eye of the Tiger” at the top of my lungs.  I need the inspiration.

Ooops! I guess my “Sucker! You’re running 10 miles tomorrow!” comment on facebook wasn’t helpful… sorry about that… Now you can call me names if you’d like… you’re the one who successfully completed the run! Nice work, Ehret!
