CVS Moneymaker and Freebie!

Did you already make your CVS shopping trip?  Well, you’re going to need to head right back because I have two GREAT deals to share.

There is a deal this week on 3M products: Buy $15 in 3M products and get $5 Extrabucks.  The 3M Command Metal hooks are also on sale for 2/$5.

Print six of these $2.50/1 coupons and you will get six hooks for FREE plus make $5 ECBs.   Seriously.

Next:

Buy 2 Zooth toothbrushes for $1.99 each.
Use the B1G1 coupon from the 4/5 PG insert.  (It expires 4/30.)
Pay $1.99. Get $2 ECBs.

Sigh.  CVS is my friend.

For the rest of the CVS deals this week, go here.

Hey, I just went to CVS to cash in on this deal (I heard about it and couldn’t wait for my husband to get home so I could go out and get my deal!), but when I got there, I saw that the metal hooks are actually not 2/$5, they’re $6.99. And since that $2.50/1 coupon is only for metal hooks, I couldn’t do the deal. Bummer, huh?

See my post here for more…

Do they let you use the multiple coupons for the same item? The coupon states that you can’t but I’ve never tried. Help this confused CVSer! Would love to get these metal hooks but want to get the best deal and I know you know how!

I went to my 24 hour CVS last night to get in on this deal and they didn’t have any metal hooks at that location. So, I used the $1.50/1 coupon and the $1/1 coupon for some plastic hooks and strips. They didn’t ring up as 2 for $5, but the assistant manager overrode the prices and gave them to me for the 2 for $5 price because they were put in the 2 for $5 area. I ended up doing 2 transactions, and paid a total of $5 (includes 2 $5 ECB’s).

    6 items = $15 – 6 coupons ($1/1) = $9 oop + $5 ECB
    6 items = $15 – 6 coupons ($1.50/1) – $5 ECB = $1 oop

Considering they were regularly priced at $6.99-9.49 each, I was pretty stoked. :-)

Thanks for the heads-up on the free Pasta Bread Bowls – yum! Joshua and I both ate on it and still have some for Jared to try! (we actually picked up two of them from different locations – the macaroni one and the chicken carbonara!)
Went to CVS and our store doesn’t carry the metal hooks – bummer – but will keep the coupons for another store. However did get a great deal on Children’s Zyrtec. They were “on sale” for $10 (not a sale price since they run cheaper than that at the grocery store – Target had them on sale for $8.47 this week) but if you spend $20 on certain medicines and such you got $10 in ECBs. Used my $5 ECB from last week therefore paid $15 oop and then got the $10 ECBs plus a $4 off $20 coupon. Will get more Zyrtec and only pay $6 and still get $10 ECBs. I’m getting it I think!
